DONIELSON, Presiding Judge.

In 1981 Arlingdale injured his neck while employed by French & Hecht. The employer paid healing period benefits and by 1983 the industrial commissioner awarded to Arlingdale permanent and total disability. The employer, who is self-insured, continued making periodic payments according to a stipulation.
