Plaintiffs Alice Leach and Carmen Irons are employees of Pan American World Airways, Inc.; defendant Teamsters Local 769 represents them before their employer. The two claim that the Department of Labor has declared them to be handicapped as a result of their extreme physical reactions to smoke in the workplace.
