HILL, Justice.

Stanton appeals his conviction by a jury for the offense of aggravated robbery. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. sec. 29.03 (Vernon Pamph.Supp.1988). The trial court assessed his punishment at twenty years in the Texas Department of Corrections.
