SEXTON, Judge.

The plaintiffs, Betty Lou Bufkin and Jimmy Dale Sims, appeal the trial court judgment denying their claim for damages for personal injuries they sustained in an automobile accident. We reverse.

These two consolidated cases arise out of a one-vehicle accident that occurred on an unpaved road in DeSoto Parish. On December 7, 1986, the plaintiffs were guest passengers in a vehicle owned and operated by Mrs. Bufkin's husband, Walter. The plaintiffs...
