Robin Joseph Brunet was indicted by the Terrebonne Parish Grand Jury for second degree murder, in violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1. He was tried by a jury, which returned a verdict of guilty of the responsive offense of manslaughter. The trial court imposed the maximum sentence of twenty-one years at hard labor.
