The State appeals from an order of the circuit court dismissing an indictment charging defendant, Eddie Bartee, with attempted residential burglary. The trial court dismissed the indictment on the basis that it was not brought in a timely fashion following defendant's arrest. The State's sole appellate contention is that the dismissal was erroneous under section 114-1(e) of the Code...
