Appellant Frank Ronald Borrego was convicted in circuit court of possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, terroristic threats and public intoxication. Borrego represented himself at trial, but requested the circuit court to appoint counsel to represent him at sentencing. He appeared for sentencing with court-appointed counsel on July 16, 1987.
