The director of the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility filed a petition for disciplinary action against respondent James H. Schaefer in December 1986. Subsequently, in June 1987, the director filed a supplemental petition. Respondent filed an answer denying the allegations of the first petition, but did not answer the second petition.
