Relators Dyna Span Corporation (Dyna Span) and A.R. Johnson complain that respondent the Honorable Leonard E. Hoffman, sitting as visiting judge for the Honorable Adolph Canales, abused his discretion by denying a motion for protective order on a subpoena duces tecum and notice of deposition for Johnson. Johnson was Dyna Span's president. The corporation did a national business with headquarters located in Florida where Johnson also resided. The...
