GAMMAGE, Justice.

Patrick W. Price ("Price") sued the City of San Marcos and certain public officials (collectively "the City") alleging he was illegally removed from the City Planning Commission and defamed in the process of his removal. Price now appeals from summary judgment rendered in favor of the City. We affirm the judgment.
