Defendant, Dean Alton Curtis, appeals from a judgment of conviction for murder, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 201(1)(A) (1983), entered after a jury trial in the Superior Court (York County; Brodrick, J.). Curtis argues that it was error for the hearing justice (Cole, J.) to deny his pretrial motion to suppress statements made in the United States to Canadian detectives.
