Defendant, Merle LeRoy Knerr, appeals his conviction, after a jury trial, of second-degree burglary. See Iowa Code §§ 713.1,.5 (1985). Defendant contends (1) the trial court abused its discretion in overruling his motion to dismiss for lack of speedy indictment, and (2) the trial court erred in overruling his motion for new trial based upon the State's use of handwriting analysis of juror...
