On June 8, 1987, pursuant to a plea agreement, the defendant, Jeff B. Ellis pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule IV controlled dangerous substance, Dextropropoxyphene, a violation of La.R.S. 40:969(C) and to driving while intoxicated, second offense, a violation of La.R.S. 14:98(A), (C).
