GREENE, Judge.

This is a civil action in which plaintiffs seek actual and punitive damages, as well as injunctive relief. They allege defendant Nash County Board of Education's nonrenewal of their teaching contracts was an "arbitrary and capricious" action. At the conclusion of plaintiff's evidence, the trial court granted defendant's motion for a directed verdict. Plaintiffs appeal to this Court.
