In this workers' compensation case plaintiff Ernest Turpin, a resident of Anderson County, was injured while working for the defendant, Conner Brothers Excavating Company, Inc., in Knox County. Turpin alleged he was injured in the course of his employment on 9 January 1986. His complaint was filed on 15 June 1987 in Anderson County.
