The Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) appeals a ruling by the district court denying its request for a preliminary injunction. APFA had sought an injunction requiring American Airlines to allow flight attendants to wear a particular insignia button while on duty: one which indicated disapproval of the "B" scale wage rates which the airline sought to pay.
