Appellant Loren Huss, Jr., was convicted, following jury trial, of the crime of first-degree murder in violation of Iowa Code sections 707.1 and 707.2 (1985). On appeal from judgment and sentence entered upon his conviction, Huss raises a solitary but significant question: Has he been twice brought to trial for the same offense?
