The First National Bank of Azle (Azle), appellee, sued Longview Bank & Trust Company (Longview), appellant, for breach of contract occasioned by Longview's dishonor of a check. Azle had previously presented the check to Longview for collection. After the check had been finally paid and after the expiration of the midnight deadline, Longview returned the check to Azle for failure of Azle to properly follow rules for endorsement...
