This cause came on for non-jury trial before the Hon. Lansing L. Mitchell on May 8, 1986, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1332. The case arose out of an accident which occurred on November 4, 1979 when Craig Bohn, while riding a bicycle, was struck head-on by an automobile owned and operated by Brian Allee-Walsh, a Times Picayune sports writer.
