Patrick Abraham contests his adjudication as a multiple offender.

On December 3, 1985, Abraham was charged with theft of goods valued at more than $500.00, a violation of La.R.S. 14:67. After a trial by jury he was found guilty as charged and, on July 28, 1986, was sentenced to six years at hard labor.
