On 3 December 1987, a jury convicted the defendant, Ronald Arlestus Attmore, of one count of first degree rape, one count of first degree sex offense, six counts of second degree kidnapping, and one count of robbery with a firearm. The trial judge sentenced defendant to concurrent life terms for the rape and sex offense, a consecutive 30-year term for one of the kidnapping counts, consecutive terms of nine years for each of the remaining five kidnapping...
