The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, after a jury trial, of larceny in the sixth degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-125b, and from the judgment of conviction, after trial before the same jury, of being a persistent larceny offender in violation of General Statutes § 53a-40 (c).
