Appellant, Jimmy Dean Elem, appeals from the district court's1 judgment entered on a jury verdict convicting him for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. app. § 1202(a)(1) (West Supp.1984). The district court sentenced appellant to a sentence of twenty-two years with no probation or parole, however, this term was made to run concurrently with a twenty-five-year sentence...
