Defendant, Stevan Rodrigues, was charged as a juvenile in a two-count petition with aggravated sexual battery and aggravated oral sexual battery, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:43.2 and LSA-R.S. 14:43.4, respectively. The trial judge granted a directed verdict of acquittal as to count two, aggravated oral sexual battery, and adjudicated defendant a juvenile delinquent as to Count 1, after finding he committed the offense of sexual battery.
