John Polkey was indicted by the Washington Parish Grand Jury for aggravated rape, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:42, and aggravated crime against nature, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:89.1. Defendant waived his right to a trial by jury. After a bench trial, defendant was convicted as charged on each count.
