This is a civil action in which various defendants associated with the Holiday Inns enterprise appeal from jury verdicts finding them liable for personal injuries inflicted by third persons upon the plaintiffs Crinkley, while the Crinkleys were guests in a Holiday Inn Motel. The defendants raise several issues on appeal, principally that the district court erred in denying their motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict...
