The plaintiff, Basseruddin Kabir, brought this suit seeking damages for false imprisonment. The City of Lafayette and its mayor, Dud Lastrape, were made defendants. From a judgment in favor of the plaintiff, the defendants appeal. We reverse and render judgment in favor of the defendants dismissing plaintiff's suit.
