On December 10, 1985, four Calumet Park police officers went to the home of defendant Leon Walker armed with a $50,000 bail bond forfeiture warrant from Peoria County. In the process of executing the warrant, the officers entered Walker's home and seized hundreds of articles of allegedly stolen mail.
