This litigation stems from a theft that occurred in Las Vegas, Nevada, while Herman and Fredericka Siegel were guests of the MGM Grand Hotel. The Siegels, who are residents of Dade County, had traveled to Las Vegas on a personal "gambling junket," arranged through the Grand Hotel office in Miami Beach, under which MGM agreed to provide free air fare and secure accommodations in exchange for the Siegels' promise to gamble substantial sums of...
