Clint D. Smith, age 23, was charged by bill of information with armed robbery, LSA-R.S. 14:64. Pursuant to plea negotiations between his appointed counsel and the state, Smith entered a plea of guilty, with an agreement that his sentencing exposure would be limited to between ten and 25 years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
