This is an appeal by the bondsman from an appearance bond forfeiture. The following is undisputed: Whorton was indicted for conspiracy to traffic in cocaine. He was arrested and held in the Floyd County Jail without bond. Upon Whorton's petition the court set bond at $500,000.
