Claimant was employed as a food service worker by the State Office of Mental Health at Rockland Psychiatric Center (hereinafter Rockland). On October 12, 1981, claimant injured her back while lifting coffee urns in the course of her employment at Rockland. Since she was unable to leave her bed the next morning, claimant called Rockland and stated that she could not come to work because of the injury.
