ERICKSON, Justice.

The defendant, Harold Williamsen, was convicted by a Boulder County Court jury of driving while under the influence of alcohol (DUI). See § 42-4-1202(1)(a), 17 C.R.S. (1984). The conviction was affirmed on appeal to the Boulder County District Court. We granted certiorari and now affirm the district court.
