Appellant John R. Trice ("Trice") was convicted following a jury trial on three felony counts of making false statements to a financial institution insured by the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation ("FSLIC"), contrary to 18 U.S.C. § 1014. Appellant raises several contentions in this appeal. Finding merit only in a challenge to the jury instructions, we reverse his conviction on two of the counts but affirm as to the remaining...
