PATTERSON, Judge.

This is a direct appeal from district court on stipulated facts and waiver of jury trial, and a certified question of law, pursuant to § 12-12-72(1) and (2), Code of Alabama 1975.

The question certified is as follows:

"Whether a defendant may be convicted of driving while license suspended where the sole evidence of any prior traffic offenses is the five year driving record as provided by the Alabama Department of Public Safety...
