The appellees filed this quiet title action in the Carroll County Chancery Court alleging they were the rightful owners of the disputed property: All of lots 7 and 8, Block 31, and all of lots 7 and 8, Block 32, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The appellants filed a counter-claim alleging they had purchased the property from the State of Arkansas, receiving three tax deeds, and that they had been in possession...
