Defendant Town of Harrington appeals from a declaratory judgment of the Superior Court (Washington County) finding the Town's tax liens on plaintiff Campbell Cary's property void for failure to meet the recording requirements of 36 M.R.S.A. § 942 (1978 & Supp.1987).
