Elpiko Morales appeals from a judgment of conviction entered on March 27, 1987 in the Southern District of New York by Judge John E. Sprizzo following a jury trial. The jury found Morales guilty of both possession of narcotics and the separate offense of possession of narcotics while an inmate in the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC). On March 25, 1987, Judge Sprizzo sentenced Morales to a one-year term of incarceration for the first offense...
