We withdraw our opinion of November 19, 1986, and substitute the following opinion.

James A. Leonard and Texas Land & Trading Co., Inc. (appellants) appeal from a district-court judgment that rescinds a contract between Leonard and appellees Doren Eskew, Douglas Muir, and Danny Womack.
