This is a motion to vacate an order of maritime attachment and garnishment. This dispute, in its broader sense, involves a stevedore, a ship owner (plaintiff), and a charterer (defendant). The stevedore, claiming entitlement to fees for removing cargo from the ship, brought an action in rem and had the ship arrested in Texas.
