Plaintiffs, Edward Meeka (plaintiff) and Shirley Meeka, filed a complaint in the Macomb Circuit Court alleging age discrimination against Edward Meeka as a result of his layoff by defendant, D & F Corporation. Edward's wife, Shirley, claims loss of consortium. The trial court granted defendant's motion for summary disposition pursuant to MCR 2.116(C)(10) and dismissed plaintiffs' suit.
