On April 19, 1984, plaintiff-appellant, Kathleen Nearhouse, purchased a Volkswagen Quantum automobile from the defendant-appellee, Westside Volkswagen, Inc. The appellant also bought a one-year service contract for the automobile.
In May 1984, the automobile was taken back to the dealership for replacement of the front interior carpeting, the repair of the cruise control, and the repair of the front window molding.
