The plaintiff, Marsh, Day & Calhoun, brought this action against the defendant, Elisabeth Solomon, to recover legal fees for services rendered to her. The defendant filed a counterclaim alleging that, upon the termination of their attorney-client relationship, the plaintiff had wrongfully refused, despite demand, to return her files. In her counterclaim, the defendant sought damages and an order directing the plaintiff to return the files...
