Following a jury trial, defendant-appellant, Stephen L. Mecum, was adjudged guilty of two counts of robbery in violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-324(1) (Reissue 1985) and of using a motor vehicle to flee arrest in violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-905(2) (Reissue 1985).
