Ronald Palermo drowned while surf bathing at a resort on the Pacific coast of Mexico while on a recreational-social trip sponsored by and largely paid for by his employer. Adele S. Palermo, widow of Ronald, seeks worker's compensation on behalf of herself and her dependent child, Amy Cherie Palermo. The issue in this case is whether or not Ronald Palermo's drowning death arose out of and in the course of his employment within the contemplation...
