PER CURIAM.

Appellant was convicted of attempted burglary. Punishment, enhanced by proof of two prior convictions, was assessed at forty-eight (48) years' confinement.

The record reflects that appellant was sentenced on February 6, 1987. On the same day appellant executed an affidavit indicating he was indigent and requesting the trial court to appoint him counsel in order to pursue an appeal. Counsel was appointed for appellant on February...
