Webb, a dissatisfied homeowner, sued Reese, the real estate agent with whom she had listed her house for sale, alleging breach of contract, fraud, "bad faith," and "outrage". The trial court directed a verdict in favor of the defendant on all tort claims. The breach of contract claim was submitted to the jury, which returned a verdict in favor of the defendant.
