Defendant Mark Kane Bugely appeals from his conviction of theft in the first degree in violation of Iowa Code §§ 714.1(2) and 714.2(1) (1985) for misappropriation of a car he rented. Defendant contends there was insufficient evidence in the record to establish that a final return date had been agreed to by the defendant and Ames National Car Rental (National) agency.
