On December 20, 1984, appellee was arrested in Jacksonville, Alabama for the offense for the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol. Appellee was convicted of the offense and paid a fine. Thereafter, the Department of Public Safety issued a suspension order, suspending the driver's license of appellee. The notice of suspension was dated March 14, 1985. However, it was not mailed until March 21, 1985.
