This matter is before the Court on the Trustee's objection to the homestead exemption claimed by the Debtor, Roger Owen. The parties have submitted briefs to the Court and have stipulated as to the facts. The issue is whether the Debtor, Roger Owen, is entitled to claim a homestead exemption in a home he jointly occupied with his wife, Bettey Owen. The property is owned solely by Bettey Owen, and the Trustee does not object...
